reminder

I named this blog "a small sbeck loved by a big god" to remind myself that although I am just literally a tiny speck in this huge universe, there is someone who knows me and loves me very deeply. I don't believe I was made out of nothing, nor do I believe that the intricate parts of me come from a monkey. The character and image I bear come from a place of deep thought. I am very very complex and unique, and so is everyone else in this world. I know that I was formed with intention and love. When I really meditate on this and think about how much individual attention I get from the Lord, my mind is blown away. I want to spend my entire life knowing Him and yielding to Him because I know I'm messed up without Him. This world tugs me in different directions, but I want to push against the tides that try to drown me and enter into a life of rest.
